I cross stitched a birth sampler for Heather, but of course couldn't finish it until after she was born. It is now hanging in the nursery, though:
This is something else I did. My mom made it and it hung in my room as a child, but the fabric had become really discolored over the years. So I re-stitched it and gave the wood a fresh coat of paint:

Things must be going better if you have time to write on your blog! Your cross-stitch is gorgeous. I made ones for Will and Addie but they have a lot of empty space. Yours must have taken forever. I love it!

The sampler is very impressive. And Heather is so cute! Does she scream whenever you put her on her stomach? Addie does. But today she just rolled over every time I put her on her stomach. So much for tummy time.
